Depot Deluxe Burger Add mayo, lettuce and tomato to your Depot Burger
Depot Deluxe Cheese Burger choice of Tillamook cheddar or Swiss cheese, mayo, and topped with locally made pickle slices, mayo, lettuce and tomatoes!
The Train Wreck!!! back again from the original 2006 Depot Cafe menu! You’re not going to believe this one! Tillamook medium cheddar and swiss cheeses, mayo, lettuce, tomato, yellow onion slices, local sweet pickle relish, deli mustard and ketchup topped off with bacon strips and… a fried egg! Yes, you will need both hands and extra napkins for this one!
Rail Spike Burger! on a hand pressed charbroiled burger… green Anaheim chili peppers are grilled and blended with local poblanos, jalapenos and sweet peppers! Then melt cheddar cheese over everything! A spicy Chipotle (chee-poat-lay) Garlic mayo covers the buns with lettuce and locally grown tomatoes! Hot-Cha-Cha!!!
HOT DOGS:
The Depot Dog Classic – our buttered grilled Stadium Roll and the gourmet quarter pound jumbo locally made hot dog! You ‘dress it up’ at the bar! Mayo, select mustards, ketchup, onions, locally made relish & local sauerkraut.
The Railyard Dog! split open and charbroiled with melted cheddar and swiss! Topped deli mustard, sautéed organic garlic and onions! Tasty and messy! ARF!
BEEF BRISKET SANDWICHES:
Depot Cheese Steak. We take thinly sliced, slow roasted beef brisket and smother it in grilled peppers and onions. This gets a generous helping of Swiss cheese and once that’s melted it all goes on a grilled Stadium roll spread with mayo. You may want to grab a knife and fork for this!!
Spicy Brakeman’s Barbecue Brisket Sandwich – We take a garlic grilled up stadium roll and fill it up with sliced beef brisket dripping our Texas style hot & spicy housemade BBQ sauce! Then we add a little mayo and sweet onions and serve up with a side of barbecue for dippin’ …and plenty of napkins for wipin’

The Depot Cafe is located directly at the railroad crossing of appetite and nostalgia. Nestled inside the Milwaukee Road depot in South Cle Elum, the railroad atmosphere is genuine. Hailing back to the days when "The Beanery" was THE place for hungry engineers, conductors, and every sort of Milwaukee Road worker to satisfy a well earned appetite, the tradition lives on at the Depot Cafe.
